Dec 11, 2020 · Drain the Old Coolant. To drain the coolant from the engine remove the filler cap on the top of the heat exchanger and then remove the drain cocks. There are multiple drain cocks on the engine, with some being easier to get to than others. I removed the two shown in the picture above.
